Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management

Description of Duties:

Purdue University Calumet, located in Hammond, Indiana, seeks an experienced and successful enrollment manager with a proven track record growing and shaping new undergraduate student enrollment using best practices in marketing, admissions, and financial aid.

Required Qualifications:
REQUIRED: • Master's degree or higher • Must have seven or more years of experience successfully managing, leading and mentoring staff, an understanding of higher education marketing, branding and how to build and shape an inquiry pool • Demonstrated success implementing best practices in student recruitment • Must have experience with using financial aid and scholarships to support new student enrollment goals • Must have experience selecting and implementing a CRM, preferably one that integrates with Banner • Must possess strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills • Must have a deep understanding of the operations of the offices that report to the position • Must use data and information effectively in planning and decision-making • Demonstrate a strong commitment to student diversity and excellence

Preferred Qualifications:
Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services is a key member of the Enrollment Leadership Team and responsible for providing vision, strong leadership, and strategic direction to three key offices and their staff: the Office of Admissions, Office of Student Financial Services (financial aid and student accounts), and the Office of the Registrar. This new position is responsible for leading the annual enrollment planning process to formulate and implement strategies that support the University’s undergraduate student enrollment goals. The AVC for Enrollment Services will assume a lead role in developing the University’s multi-year strategic enrollment plan. The ideal candidate will come prepared to serve as an agent for change in a complex organization that is part of the Purdue University System comprised of Purdue University in West Lafayette, two regional campuses in Hammond and Westville, and three campuses jointly operated by Purdue University and Indiana University. The assistant vice chancellor must work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, faculty, staff, and other administrators throughout the System.
