Description of Duties:

Sightlines is the nation’s premier data analytics and consulting firm devoted to Facilities Intelligence (FI) in higher education. Sightlines gives colleges and universities the independent data and perspective they need to make critical decisions about their most valuable assets – their facilities. We are looking for self-motivated, creative thinkers, with the experience to improve processes and work well within a team. Location: California / West Coast; Texas, Florida, Illinois/Midwest Home office in the referenced states Travel: Required travel 60%+

Required Qualifications:
Experience  Minimum of 7-10 years as a sales account executive driving results in a large geographic sales territory.  Proven track record prospecting, selling and closing complex B2B services to “C” level executives in the higher education market; preferably financial, consulting, technology or facilities management services.  Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Skills/Abilities:  Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, territory, account capture and meeting plans.  Ability to work independently while making measurable contributions to a national sales team.  Track record of cross-selling additional B2B services to existing clientele.  Ability to persuade prospects to purchase both tangible and intangible B2B service offerings.  Excellent oral and written communication skills including public speaking.  High level of proficiency in Salesforce CRM (or other sales CRMs) and all Microsoft Office applications.  Ability to consistently meet deadlines for internal and external priorities.  Strong work ethic, values and integrity.

Advanced degree a plus

Major Duties and Responsibilities  Prospect, sell and close sales in an assigned geographic sales territory.  Develop and execute annual sales plan (including territory, state and service offerings), individual account capture plans and sales meeting plans.  Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.  Optimize SalesForce CRM as a tool to enhance sales pipeline and management reporting.  Cross-sell and up-sell existing members with new services.  Build consensus among multiple buyers or decision influencers on campus.  Work with multiple Operations Teams to close and deliver Sightlines services to its members while maximizing cross-sell opportunities.  Attend and present at conferences and webinars.
