Information Security Manager

Description of Duties:

Information Security Manager
Portland Community College Sylvania Campus - Under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Technology Solution Services or Division Manager manages the day-to-day operations of assigned functional area within Information Security. Participates in the development, recommendation, and administration of policies, procedures and processes in support of assigned functional area within the department. Required Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline (relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis). - Five years progressively responsible, professional information technology experience related to area of assignment, including two years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Demonstrated experience educating a large user community on security policies and practices. 2. Proven experience leading a cross functional team to address information security incidents and assessments at various levels of the organization. 3. Experience in facilitating information security governance and decision making in multi-site and complex technology environments.
