Description of Duties:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks an Administrative Assistant to perform varied advanced secretarial and administrative work unique to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions requiring initiative and independent judgment. Incumbents work independently under general direction.

Required Qualifications:
Four (4) years' secretarial/administrative experience; OR, Certificate in Secretarial Science and three (3) years of secretarial/administrative experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of standard office policies and procedures. Experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships; scheduling and calendar; data entry; CRM; Google Docs; PeopleSoft; English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation; Organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize in a fast changing environment; typing/word processing and use of personal computer/software.
