Description of Duties:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OR RESPONSIBILITY: The Director of Center for Teaching and Learning supports faculty in the development of effective teaching and assessment skills and strategies, resulting in enhanced opportunities for students to learn. The Director manages and directs all activities of the Center for Teaching and Learning. The Director has the opportunity to participate in teaching at the Pacific. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Leads faculty to actively explore and develop innovative teaching strategies that are responsive to a diverse range of student learning styles, including the effective use of technology, interdisciplinary approaches, and application of learning theories. 2. Develops and coordinates a range of teaching support services, including individual consultations, assistance with course design, seminars, and workshops. 3.
