Approaches for Improving Student Performance Using Mobile Devices in the Classroom: CUNY Professor Shares Results from Spring 2013 Pilot
This webinar will focus on a CUNY (The City University of New York) professor's campus-wide trial conducted during the Spring 2013 term across multiple disciplines. Professor Adam Scott Wandt, Chair of the CUNY Skunkworks: Academic Technology Research and Development Group, will explain several different models utilized and examine their strengths and weaknesses. Focus will be placed on the semester long trial conducted in Professor Wandt's Graduate Information Security Course by sharing how Via Response was used to dramatically increase student reading and responsiveness. The webinar will conclude with comments shared by students regarding their experiences using this new technology.
